Snowy Wedding | Waukesha, WI | Alex+Ashley
The fall and into early winter in Wisconsin can be a bit unpredictable, so Alex and Ashley knew that their November 1st wedding could either be sunny with temps in the 50’s or snowy and in the 20’s. It made complete sense that their wedding day ended up being a mixture of the two: 40’s, cloudy with snow on the ground!
When it snowed the night before I *literally* started jumping up and down. For as long as I’ve been photographing weddings, I had yet to photograph a snowy wedding day! So I’ll be honest when I say that my dreams came true on November 1st, 2019! Plus, we still had a little bit of color in the trees around the lake that we did photos at. Their day did not disappoint!
Ashley and her bridesmaids also prepared for the possibility of snow by purchasing adorable faux fur shawls and bringing winter boots along. For them, this made being out in the cold and couple of inches of snow much more bearable.
Ashley and Alex were a complete joy to work with! I was honored to be their photographer. Happy (almost) 6 month anniversary, you two!
