With my blog game being so strong [for me] this year, I’m working on recapping some Summer 2019 weddings, and possibly weddings from 2018 that I never shared about! So with the start of a look back, here’s Mike and Emily!

Their friendship began through mutual friends and their shared love for all things outdoors: camping, biking, skiing, hiking. After multiple outdoorsy trips and hanging out, their friendship turned into much more. Engaged in April and married just three months later, these two learned that when you know, you know! Why have a long drawn out engagement when you can easily plan a destination wedding in just a few months!

Their wedding was on Lake Superior in Two Harbors, Minnesota, north of Duluth, where Emily Is from. Their ceremony was on the most gorgeous pebble beach overlooking the lake. IT WAS MAGNIFICENT! We spent the afternoon and evening trekking around the area for some pretty incredible photos. For a couple that adores the outdoors as much as these two do, it was the perfect location! They had no problem climbing up some rocks and hiking through some wooded areas, to get out to a peninsula that was dreamy as could be! Truly PERFECT for a northern, destination wedding with an adventurous couple!
