Marquette University + Good City Brewing Wedding | Milwaukee, WI | Jack + Emily
Jack and Emily met in college while attending Marquette University, and they were both tour guides on campus for prospective students. When I first chatted with them about possibly photographing their wedding, I knew they’d be a dream couple to work with. And boy am I happy they picked me!
We officially met face to face the day of their engagement session and I cannot even begin to put into words how IN LOVE these two are! I could see it from the second we walked towards each other on the street. I also instantly felt like I had known them for years. They are one of the kindest couples I have ever had the pleasure of working with.
Their wedding was on a beautiful fall October day downtown Milwaukee. And, of course. they had their ceremony on Marquette’s campus, where their love first began. They got married at the Church of the Gesu and WOWZA! What an amazing building! It was gorgeous to photograph their Catholic ceremony. After the ceremony, we trotted around campus for photos, as well as around downtown to some classic Milwaukee spots (ie. all the cream city brick, please!). We finally landed at their reception location: Good City Brewing. What an awesome view of downtown! Good City opened their downtown location in early 2019 and it does not disappoint!
Jack and Emily’s wedding was filled with love, celebration, joy and happiness! Their friends and family made me feel welcome instantly, and I couldn’t have asked for a better day or group of people to celebrate with!
Congrats again to you Jack and Emily! Happy (almost) 6 month anniversary! You guys are THE BEST!!!
