One of the biggest honors I had last year was an associate photographer for Tori of Victoria Danielle Photography. She was 9 months pregnant and couldn’t be at one of her couple’s weddings. She so graciously asked me to fully cover for her while she awaited the arrival of her baby. This was the first time I had ever been an associate photographer. Being an associate is when you photograph a wedding under another photographer’s name without them there, and then they edit and do all the post-wedding work. Being an associate photographer is so much fun, yet also a bit nerve wracking knowing that you’re working under someone else’s name and not your own. I’m still so honored that Tori asked and trusted me to capture Clark and Chelsea’s boho wedding at Sand Valley!

These two were so incredibly welcoming from the moment I walked into each of their getting ready spaces. Honestly, it was as if I’d been wedding prepping with them for months because I felt like I already knew them even though I had only met Chelsea on a FaceTime quickly the month prior.

This beautiful boho inspired wedding took place on sand dunes, and off of a lake in Nekoosa, Wisconsin. Chelsea’s dried flower bouquet and stunning two-piece dress were perfect for their venue and style of their day. The girls getting ready space was in a house in the dunes, with floor to ceiling windows. The guys enjoyed some beer and hit golf balls outside of their woodsy space. Prior to family photos, they did a first look on the dunes at Sand Valley!

Once their ceremony concluded, Clark serenaded Chelsea to their song, they rode off to their reception which took place on a stunning outdoor patio at a golf course. The rain held off and they danced the night away with their friends and family!
